Cleaning and maintenance actions of Virtuoso VJ628 printer
As with any printer, preventative maintenance should be part of a daily practice. Without preventative maintenance, consumable parts may become strained or worn, the life of the parts may be cut in half. To keep the printer running at optimal performance levels and benefit from its maximum lifespan, be sure to follow the video displaying how to perform basic preventive maintenance and cleaning on the Virtuoso VJ628.
We recommend setting auto-clean mode for the printing head in accordance to the following parameters:
- Cleaning mode: short
- Waiting: every 6 hours /360 min./
Auto cleaning can be set in ValueJet Status Monitor, Advanced Setting tab. Once the parameters are chosen they should be saved by selecting Update on the top of the screen. This setting should be confirmed at least once a month to determine no inadvertent setting changes have taken place.
The part should be cleaned with mixture of hot distilled water and Clean 60 solution weekly or as needed. Never use alcohol or eco-solvent cleaners on or around the capping assembly as print head damage may result.
We recommend replacing of the capping area every 2880 working hours or as needed.
